Assignment 1: Create Your Own Blog

Welcome to blog world 7th graders! Today you are going to create your own blog by following the directions below. When you are done, don't forget to comment on this post!


Create Blog
1. Google “blogger”
2. Click “create new blog”
3. Sign-in with your gmail address
4. Name your blog with a title and url address
a. Title should contain your name, subject, and grade
b. URL should be the same, for example, EllaEnglish7
5. Choose the design format of your blog
6. Post a comment to this post containing the URL (hyperlink) to your own blog

Customize Blog
1. On your sidebar, add a hyperlink to my blog, which is http://hisenglish.blogspot.com/
2. ABOUT ME: On your blog’s homepage, there is an “About Me” sidebar. Click on it. Then, click edit profile. Under “Extended Info,” write in the “About Me” section write 2-3 sentences that describe who you are and what the purpose of this blog is.
3. SUBTITLE: Click new post. Then go to “Settings”. Under “Description” write a brief subtitle to your blog that explains what it is about.
